Dr. Zahl is an active member of the International Society for Spinal Intervention and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP). He recently was a very active lobbyist with ASIPP to assist in the passage of NASPER, a bill sponsored by doctors to provide and improve patient access with quality care, and protect patients and physicians from deleterious effects of controlled substance misuse, abuse and trafficking .
